THE
STORY
Isaac is a tribute to my grandfather and, through him, to the generations who came before me.
The sugar-cane cutter represents physical labour, endurance and a history deeply rooted in the Caribbean landscape. Behind the image of the cane fields are generations of men and women whose strength helped shape the lives that followed.
Isaac is not only about remembering the past.
It is about recognising what we inherit from those who came before us — their work, their resilience and the traces they leave within us.
A portrait of memory, strength and transmission.
