Maya is boldness in its purest form. She represents the part of me that refuses to let anyone else decide what I should be, create or become. She follows her own codes, trusts her instincts and has little interest in seeking outside approval. There is freedom in that attitude — the freedom that comes when you stop creating yourself through other people’s expectations. Maya does not wait to be validated. She chooses herself first.
